President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria has extended his deepest condolences following the passing of the esteemed Mujahid (veteran) and scholar, Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb.

President Tebboune conveyed his sincere sympathies and profound solidarity to the family of the late Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb, who passed away yesterday at the age of 92.
In a heartfelt message, the President stated: "With profound sadness and sorrow, and with hearts submitting to the divine decree, I received the news of the passing of the departed, God willing, Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb, may God have mercy on his soul and grant him a pleasant resting place. He was a veteran of Algeria's liberation struggle, a devoted pillar of Algeria, and the translator of the meanings of the Holy Quran into the Amazigh language."
"In this immense loss, I extend my warmest condolences and sincerest sentiments of solidarity to the esteemed family of the deceased and to the revolutionary family," the President added. "I implore God Almighty to encompass him with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to grant him a place in His spacious paradise, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace. Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return."
