The Algerian Economic Renewal Council is organizing the second edition of the “Clinvest” Salon, focused on health and medical tourism, from May 29 to June 1 at the Safex Exhibition Center.

This initiative, under the theme “I Can Be Treated in My Country” and sponsored by the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, aligns with Algeria’s policy of promoting its healthcare system. This comes especially after recent statistics indicated that many Algerian patients seek treatment abroad while national healthcare facilities remain underutilized.

The “Clinvest” exhibition aims to promote the Algerian healthcare system to both local citizens and African countries by bringing together all key stakeholders in this sector, including public and private healthcare facilities, medical equipment suppliers, pharmaceutical laboratories, and the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.

According to the Council’s statement, “Clinvest” has two main objectives: highlighting the quality of care in Algeria to reduce medical tourism to other countries, and making Algeria a preferred destination for healthcare services and offers of pharmaceutical and medical equipment for African patients and importers.

The exhibition will also feature a special program of scientific lectures by prominent Algerian medical professors and offer medical analyses for visitors.
