The President of the Movement of Society for Peace (HMS), Abdelali Hassani, stated that the upcoming presidential elections are crucial for the stability and success of the state in transitioning towards a secure future.

In his speech during a meeting with provincial electoral commission heads and provincial office heads at the party’s headquarters, Hassani emphasized the importance of ensuring the success of the presidential elections. He stressed the need for a political discourse by the candidates that is “free from previous unproductive practices and verbal clashes.”

Hassani highlighted that the movement was founded on dialogue, communication, and the pursuit of solutions to preserve the nation, stating, “We are part of the state, not part of the government, and we have duties to fulfill.”

He added, “We must compete in finding solutions for the country, not just for the presidency,” underscoring the importance of diverse programs to advance the country.

Hassani revealed that the movement is working on presenting an electoral program that contributes to solving all the country’s problems. He noted that the program offers a reformist alternative to address issues and elevate the country to a leading position.

Abdelali Hassani also confirmed that his electoral program will be presented to the media and the public for review.

Hassani further mentioned that the country experienced a dark decade during which the movement was established to be part of the solution. He recalled that “Sheikh Mahfoud Nahnah used to say we are part of the solution, not part of the crisis, and this is the essence of the movement.”
