Official reports indicate that 118 out of 123 wildfires recorded across various provinces have been extinguished. Lieutenant Colonel Nassim Bernaoui, Deputy Director of Information and Awareness at the General Directorate of Civil Protection, affirmed the stability of the wildfire situation across the country. He specifically highlighted that major fires, including those in the province of Jijel, have been definitively put out. This comprehensive control effort addresses the incidents that occurred between August 28 and 29.
