Belaabed: “BEAM” Exam Results Are Satisfactory

Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belaabed, announced that the results of the Intermediate Education Certificate (BEAM) exam are “satisfactory,” with a success rate of 63.85%, representing an 11% increase compared to last year.

In his speech during a national conference on the closure of the academic year and preparation for the upcoming school season, held today at the ministry headquarters, Belaabed explained that the passing grade this year was set at 10 out of 20, compared to 9.5 last year.

Belaabed emphasized that the three-day conference aims to conclude the current academic year and ensure full readiness for the next school year.

He added, “This conference will culminate in documented outcomes that are binding for everyone.”

The minister issued directives to double the hours for physical education activities, introduce English in the fifth grade, launch the Algerian Virtual School project to educate children of the diaspora, and fully digitize all management processes.
