President Tebboune Sends Condolence Message to His Russian Counterpart

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a condolence message to Russian President Vladimir Putin today, following the death of Russia’s ambassador to Algeria, Valerian Shuvaev.

The message read: “We received with great sorrow and grief the news of the passing of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Algeria, Valerian Shuvaev, who represented his country excellently and significantly contributed to strengthening and deepening the friendship and cooperation between our two friendly countries.”

Following this tragic event, President Tebboune added, “On behalf of myself, the Algerian people, and the government, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the friendly Russian Federation, and through you to the bereaved family of the deceased. We express our sincere feelings of sympathy and consolation. While we renew our deepest condolences, please accept, Your Excellency, the highest expressions of esteem and respect.”
