President Abdelmadjid Tebboune remarked that Algeria has overcome numerous challenges in both domestic affairs and its international standing. In his message commemorating the 62nd anniversary of Independence Day, he highlighted the nation’s perseverance and determination.
President Tebboune emphasized that “sincere intentions, the resolve of its people, and the honor of the mission always promised victory despite the obstacles.” He stated, “Yes, Algeria has triumphed. It has triumphed by reclaiming its identity, restoring its national pride, and reviving hope. Algeria has triumphed by fostering economic revival, supporting vulnerable communities, and gaining the trust of its youth. It has triumphed in enhancing its regional and international image, raising its voice in global forums, and advocating for the Palestinian cause.”
He added, “Algeria has achieved one success after another on every front it engaged in, and greater achievements are on the horizon.”
In his message, President Tebboune also reflected on the significance of Independence Day, expressing that “the anniversary of our national independence instills in us the pride and understanding of having a homeland as significant and prestigious as Algeria. This great nation has never been let down by its people, who have always answered its call in critical times.”
He concluded his message with a tribute to the martyrs and veterans, saying, “Long live Algeria, thriving in its independence and future, always remembering the glory of its revolution. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my fellow veterans and wish them health and longevity.”
