Six National Organizations Urge President to Run for a Second Term

Six national organizations have called on President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to run in the upcoming presidential elections on September 7th to “complete his ambitious national program for achieving the goals of the new Algeria.”

In a joint statement issued today, Wednesday, the National Organization of Mujahideen, the National Organization of Martyrs’ Sons, the National Organization of Mujahideen’s Sons, the National Union of Algerian Women, the National Union of Algerian Farmers, and the General Union of Algerian Traders and Craftsmen urged the President to “continue his ambitious national program, serving the nation and honoring the legacy of our revered martyrs and distinguished Mujahideen.”

These organizations highlighted that their call is driven by their belief in the noble efforts and concerns of the President and his achievements during his first term, which aimed at realizing the objectives of the new Algeria across economic, social, and cultural fields, as well as the aspect related to national memory.

On this occasion, these organizations affirmed their “commitment to supporting the President at every stage to fulfill the noble and legitimate aspirations for building the new Algeria.”
