President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided over an awards ceremony today in Algiers, honoring nine institutions with the “President’s Award for the Best Exporter” for 2023. The awards recognize their efforts and contributions to diversifying and developing Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon exports.

The ceremony took place at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center, attended by senior state officials, government members, representatives of professional associations, and executives from public and private institutions.

In the industrial exporting category, Tosyali Algérie, a steel company, won the award for the best exporter. Intradis Algeria received the award in the agricultural products exporting category.

Clinica Group was selected as the best service exporter, while the Algerian-Qatari Steel Company (AQS) received the award for best exporter to the African continent.

During the ceremony, President Tebboune also presented the Youngest Exporter Award to Nourredine Messali, director of Alteo Energie, a company specializing in administrative and marketing services for businesses.

The Best Female Exporter Award went to Fatima Mennaa, owner of Tolga El Baraka, a company specializing in packaging materials primarily for the agro-food industry.

Additionally, honorary “Encouragement” certificates were awarded to Hikma Pharma Algérie, Al Ourdjouana Dattes, and Ouzellaguen Olive Oil Mills.

The “President’s Award for the Best Exporter” includes a commemorative shield and an annual certificate of appreciation for the best exporter in various categories: industrial and pharmaceutical products, agricultural products, services, exports to Africa, the youngest exporter, and female exporters, as stipulated in a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette No. 45.
