Brahim Hemdani, the new coach of the Algerian national team, has outlined his comprehensive project, emphasizing a clear and coherent vision from the outset. A key focus involves the recruitment of dual-nationality players, with Hemdani acknowledging that several eligible players are currently weighing options between national teams. He stated that efforts are underway to convince these players, recognizing the complexity of the process while committing to maximizing efforts.

The coach also addressed the transition in team leadership, particularly following the departures of Riyad Mahrez and Aïssa Mandi. Hemdani noted the presence of capable players on the right side of the field who can demonstrate their qualities. Regarding the captaincy, he indicated a preliminary idea and plans to identify players capable of guiding younger team members. Furthermore, Hemdani affirmed his primary role as head coach, with Antar serving as his assistant, specifically in preparing player lists, ensuring clear staff responsibilities.

Hemdani detailed his approach to team management, drawing on his experience in high-level competitive environments. He confirmed that no player is excluded from consideration, citing the potential return of Ben Bout to the national team if he maintains strong club performances. The coach also expressed readiness to manage external pressures, stating that criticism is inherent to the role and that he is well-acquainted with Algerian fans, from whom he currently senses understanding and support. He clarified his non-involvement in social media, preferring to focus on achieving results for the team.
