Algiers Welcomes Tunisian Delegation for Business Growth

A Tunisian economic mission is scheduled to visit Algiers from September 22 to 24, 2026, with the primary objective of strengthening institutional partnerships between the two countries. The mission seeks to intensify initiatives aimed at advancing economic cooperation, particularly within the private sector, building on a protocol of agreement signed in May 2026 between "CONECT" and the Algerian Confederation of Citizen Employers.

During its visit to the Algerian capital, the mission will facilitate direct engagements between Tunisian and Algerian institutions, aiming to establish new trade and investment partnerships. Planned activities include bilateral business meetings, dedicated networking sessions, and field visits to various Algerian economic entities. These direct interactions are expected to help Tunisian businesses understand market needs and explore collaboration opportunities across multiple sectors.

The economic mission will focus on diverse key sectors, as reported by "CONECT International." These include manufacturing industries, international trade, agriculture, food industries, building materials, health, pharmaceutical industries, renewable energies, energy transition, transport, logistics, consulting and business services, and digital innovation. This broader engagement is intended to foster new avenues for trade and investment, thereby contributing to the expansion of economic partnerships between the two nations.
