New Walis, Secretaries General Appointed in Reshuffle

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune recently carried out a partial administrative reshuffle affecting Walis, Delegate Walis, and Secretaries General across various wilayas. This action was taken in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, as announced by a statement from the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport.

The reshuffle included several key appointments, with President Tebboune naming 10 new Walis. Among these were Mr. Abdelkrim Ben Baba Ali for Aricha Wilaya and Mr. Abderbi Moden for El Abiodh Sidi Cheikh Wilaya. Additionally, Mr. Nadhir Battin was appointed as Delegate Wali for the Braki administrative district within Algiers Wilaya.

Further strengthening administrative oversight, 15 Secretaries General for wilayas were also appointed. The reshuffle also saw the termination of duties for three Delegate Walis: Mr. Said Boualadhahab, formerly of the Brikah administrative district; Mr. Boualem Allouach, previously of the Ain Oussara administrative district; and Mr. Adel Daoudi, formerly of the Messaad administrative district. Furthermore, the duties of two executives serving as Secretaries General were concluded, including Mr. Rashid Ben Youssef from Béchar Wilaya, who retired.
