Arab Festival Honors Three Algerian Channels

Algerian channels have won three awards at the Arab Radio and Television Festival, which recently concluded its closing ceremony in Tunis. This achievement highlights the quality and cultural contributions of Algerian media on an international platform, showcasing national talent and programming.

Algerian Television received two significant accolades during the festival. A first prize in the cultural programs category was awarded for its program "Nâal El-Ramel," which explores the life of Isabelle Eberhardt and her deep connections to Algeria. Additionally, Algerian Television secured a second prize in the artistic programs and evenings category for its program "Angham Bladi," broadcast on the Al Oula channel.

Further demonstrating the breadth of national talent, the series "Fatma," produced by director Djaffar Gassem and aired on Samira TV, earned the first prize in the series category. The festival's closing ceremony also featured a performance by Algerian artist Kessila Adjad, whose rendition of Dahmane El Harrachi's "Ya Rayah Win Msafar" was presented with a new musical arrangement, eliciting an enthusiastic response and applause from the audience.
