Ministry of Youth Backs Project Empowering Algerian Youth

The National Association for Awareness and Sensitization of Youth to the Dangers of Illegal Immigration, known as 'El Harka,' has initiated a significant community project in Blida. This project, which received support from the Ministry of Youth for 2026, is implemented with the accompaniment and supervision of the Directorate of Youth and Sports for Blida Wilaya. The initiative, titled 'Safe Alternatives and Sustainable Mechanisms to Empower Youth from the Danger of El Harka,' was inaugurated under the high patronage of the Minister of Youth, who is also responsible for the Supreme Council for Youth, at the Mohammed Khaddawi Cultural Center in Blida.

Samir Zoulikha, President of the National Association, stated that the project's primary aim is to offer practical and realistic solutions and safe alternatives to young people. It seeks to enhance awareness regarding the risks associated with illegal immigration, foster skill development, and guide energies towards tangible opportunities. The initiative also promotes entrepreneurship and supports the social and professional integration of youth within Algeria.

This undertaking aligns with broader national efforts designed to cultivate a culture of stability, training, and initiative, encouraging youth to seize opportunities available within the country. These efforts are crucial for empowering young Algerians and building a secure and sustainable future at home. As part of this initiative, a joint committee comprising youth, psychologists, and association members has been established to organize a study day at Blida University in October 2026, with the participation of specialists from the Blida University Services Directorate.
