Minister Sayoud Oversees New Wali Appointments in Three Wilayas

Algeria's Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Said Sayoud, recently visited several wilayas to oversee the official installation ceremonies of new Walis (governors). Arriving at Sheikh Bouamama Airport in El Mechria on Sunday, Minister Sayoud's working tour included the wilayas of El Aricha, Naâma, and El Abiodh Sidi Cheikh.

This administrative action is in direct fulfillment of a decision issued by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which initiated a partial reshuffle within the corps of Walis, Delegated Walis, and General Secretaries across the nation. During his visit, Minister Sayoud directly supervised the installation ceremonies and engaged in organizational meetings with local authorities and elected officials in the concerned regions.

The reshuffle and subsequent installations are intended to accelerate the executive implementation of development programs and effectively respond to the aspirations of citizens in the areas. This initiative aligns with the government's outlined strategy, underscoring a commitment to enhancing the efficiency of administrative and financial performance and fostering the development of public services throughout Algeria's diverse wilayas.
