Israeli army radio announced that the air force has initiated a new wave of attacks on Lebanon, prompting Beirut Airport to cancel more than 30 flights to and from the city on Tuesday.

Since Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces have conducted hundreds of air raids on southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting towns including Mais al-Jabal, Aitaroun, Houla, Taybeh, Markaba, Bani Hayyan, Jabal al-Rihan, the Iqlim al-Tuffah highlands, Bint Jbeil, Hanin, Zawtar, and the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced today that it has struck the Megiddo military airport west of Afula in northern Israel three consecutive times with “Fadi 1” and “Fadi 2” missiles.

This marks Hezbollah’s first attack on Megiddo Airport in the ongoing confrontation with Israel, which has now persisted for almost a year.
