Iraqi Drone Attack Kills and Injures 27 Israeli Soldiers in the Golan Heights

The Israeli occupation forces admitted on Friday that two of its soldiers were killed and 25 others injured in an explosion caused by a drone launched from Iraq towards northern Golan Heights.

In an official statement, the Israeli army confirmed that the drone attack, which took place two days earlier, resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and left 25 injured, with two in critical condition. The casualties were from the “13th Battalion” of the Golani Brigade.

The Israeli army also acknowledged that its air defense systems failed to detect the drone before it detonated in northern Golan, highlighting a serious lapse in their defenses.
