Gaza – Palestinian health authorities announced on Thursday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 42,847 martyrs, with 100,544 people injured.
The latest report reveals that four massacres targeting families were carried out by the Israeli forces in the past 24 hours, killing 55 Palestinians and injuring 132 others. Thousands of bodies remain buried under the rubble or lie on the streets, as Israeli forces continue to block ambulance and civil defense teams from reaching the victims.
A previous tally reported 42,792 deaths and 100,412 injuries, but the relentless bombardment has pushed the numbers higher. The ongoing aggression has triggered an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, with more than 85% of Gaza’s population displaced—amounting to 1.9 million people forced to flee their homes.
