Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, hosted a delegation from the NATO Parliamentary Assembly at the ministry headquarters on Tuesday. The delegation was led by Fernando Adolfo Gutierrez, head of NATO’s Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group. This meeting offered an opportunity to explore avenues for strengthening dialogue and cooperation between Algeria and NATO, particularly in addressing shared challenges in the Mediterranean region.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both parties exchanged insights and analyses on current international and regional issues. Discussions focused on pressing topics including the situation in the Middle East, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, developments in the Sahel region, and the Western Sahara issue.
