Republican candidate Donald Trump declared victory in the U.S. presidential election held yesterday, stating on Wednesday that he expects to secure over 300 electoral votes. Speaking from his campaign headquarters, Trump announced, “I achieved a historic win; we prevailed in the swing states and won the popular vote. This is an incredible feeling and reflects the people’s support.”
Despite Trump’s statement, the vote-counting process is still ongoing, and no response has yet been issued from the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris.
