Algerian President Officially Welcomes South African Counterpart

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune hosted an official reception for his South African counterpart, President Cyril Ramaphosa, at the Presidential Palace on Friday. The ceremony reflected the deep and historic ties between the two nations.

The welcoming ceremony commenced with the national anthems of Algeria and South Africa, played as a formation of the Republican Guard lined the entrance. The palace courtyard was adorned with the flags of both countries, emphasizing the occasion’s significance.

President Tebboune and President Ramaphosa then reviewed a guard of honor presented by the Republican Guard. This was followed by a commemorative photo session to mark the historic meeting.

President Ramaphosa arrived in Algeria on Thursday evening for a state visit at the invitation of President Tebboune, reaffirming the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.
