Algerian Foreign Minister Holds Working Session with Ugandan Counterpart in Kampala

Algiers – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held a working session on Friday in Kampala with his Ugandan counterpart, Haji Abubaker Jeje Odongo. The meeting was part of Mr. Attaf’s official visit as a special envoy of the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a ministry statement.

The discussions focused on preparations for the second session of the Algeria-Uganda Joint Governmental Committee and exploring optimal ways to utilize this bilateral platform to achieve further positive outcomes. The talks emphasized strengthening cooperation in key areas such as defense, economy, energy, trade, and higher education.
