
Algiers – Mrs. Salma Bakhta Mansouri, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs, arrived today, Monday, in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, where she was received by the President of the Republic of Liberia, Mr. Joseph Nyuma. This was reported in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
During the meeting, Mrs. Mansouri delivered a written message from the President of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Liberian President. She also conveyed President Tebboune’s warm greetings and his aspirations to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations, according to the statement.
President Nyuma praised the “depth of bilateral relations and Algeria’s esteemed standing on the African continent,” expressing his appreciation for Mrs. Mansouri’s visit to Liberia.
The meeting also included discussions on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, as highlighted in the ministry’s statement.
