
Algeria, January 26, 2025 – Sofiane Chaib, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the Algerian diaspora abroad, held a meeting with members of the Algerian community residing in northern Italy. The meeting took place in Milan under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Algeria, as part of his official visit to the Italian Republic, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad on Sunday.
The statement highlighted that the gathering, which unfolded in a warm and interactive atmosphere, provided an opportunity to engage directly with the diaspora. The meeting allowed Mr. Chaib to gain insights into their living conditions, listen to their opinions, address their concerns, and respond to their questions.
