Algiers – On Tuesday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received an invitation from Mohammed Ali Tamim, Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, and Special Envoy of the Iraqi President, to attend the upcoming Arab Summit scheduled to take place in Baghdad.
Following his meeting with the President, Tamim stated in a press release: “I had the honor today of meeting His Excellency the President of Algeria, bearing a message inviting him to attend the Arab Summit planned for May 17 in Baghdad.”
He added that he conveyed greetings from the Iraqi President and Prime Minister to President Tebboune, “insisting on his attendance at the Arab Summit, and God willing, we will see him soon in Baghdad.”
The meeting was attended by Boualem Boualem, Director of the Presidential Cabinet, and Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
