Algiers, November 3, 2025 – The Ministry of Justice today announced the launch of a new digital platform designed to streamline legal processes for both litigants and lawyers across Algeria. This initiative aims to simplify the process of obtaining certificates of non-appeal, non-opposition, and non-cassation for final judicial rulings and decisions.
The platform allows legal professionals and individuals involved in court cases to request these crucial certificates online, eliminating the need for time-consuming and costly trips to the relevant judicial institutions. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance accessibility to justice by expanding remote electronic services and simplifying bureaucratic procedures.
According to a statement released by the Ministry, users can access the platform through the Ministry of Justice’s official website. New users will be required to create an account by completing a registration form, providing their personal details, specifying their role (litigant or lawyer), and entering a mobile phone number and password. A verification code will then be sent via SMS to the registered phone number, which must be entered to activate the account.
Once registered, users can log in and select the type of certificate they require (non-opposition, non-appeal, or non-cassation). They will then be prompted to complete an application form with details pertaining to the relevant judicial authority and the specific judgment or decision. Required documents, such as official notification records of the judgment or decision, must be uploaded.
It is important to note that only parties directly involved in the case or lawyers representing those parties are eligible to use the platform. Lawyers must upload their official letter of representation.
The platform also enables users to track the progress of their applications and receive electronic notifications regarding their status. Once the certificate is ready, the applicant will be notified to collect it from the issuing authority.
The Ministry of Justice has issued a stern warning that any fraudulent activity or falsification of documents will be subject to criminal prosecution.
