Algeria Showcases Digital Transformation at South Africa Summit

Cape Town, South Africa – Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, is participating in the Global Public Digital Infrastructure Summit held in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 4th to 6th. The summit brings together ministers, experts, and international organizations active in the field of digital transformation from around the globe.

According to a statement from the ministry, Minister Zerrouki addressed the session titled “From Policies to Implementation: Public Digital Infrastructures that Transform Nations.” The session focused on transitioning from digital strategies to tangible implementation that positively impacts citizens’ lives.

During his address, Minister Zerrouki highlighted Algeria’s experience in digital transformation. He emphasized the nation’s efforts to modernize postal and telecommunications infrastructure, develop national digital platforms, and promote digital inclusion to ensure access to services for all citizens. He affirmed that building digital infrastructure is not merely a slogan but a sovereign choice.
