Severe Weather Alert: Heavy Rains, Strong Winds Forecast Sunday

Algiers, Algeria – The national weather service has issued a weather advisory, forecasting heavy rainfall and strong winds across several northern provinces of Algeria tomorrow, Sunday. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions.

The advisory indicates that the central and eastern regions are expected to experience significant rainfall. The western regions will see partly cloudy skies. The provinces most likely to be affected by the heavy rains include Tipaza, Blida, Algiers, Boumerdes, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Setif, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Constantine, and Souk Ahras.

Coastal temperatures are predicted to range between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius. Inland areas can expect temperatures between 15 and 22 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds could reach up to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas.

In contrast, the southern regions of the country are expected to experience sunny weather. Temperatures in the south will range from 21 to 37 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds reaching up to 30 kilometers per hour.
