Algiers, November 9, 2025 – The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transportation has announced the opening of registration for the Ramadan solidarity grant for the year 2026.
In a statement released today, the Ministry invites citizens wishing to benefit from the Ramadan solidarity grant, valued at 10,000 DZD, to register within a 30-day period. The registration period commences on Sunday, November 9, 2025, and concludes on Monday, December 8, 2025. This timeframe adheres to the ministerial decree issued on October 20, 2025, which establishes the start and end dates for the annual review of the digital database of individuals eligible for the Ramadan solidarity grant for 2026.
The statement clarifies that eligible applicants can register through one of two methods. First, applicants holding biometric national identity cards can register online via the Ministry’s website: https://prestations.interieur.gov.dz/solidariteramdhan. Second, applicants can visit their local municipal office and complete the grant application form, which can be downloaded from the Ministry’s official website.
Applicants are advised to carefully complete all fields on the application form with accurate and precise information.
The Ministry emphasizes that this grant is exclusively intended for vulnerable families meeting specific eligibility criteria outlined in Article 6 of Executive Decree No. 25-86, dated February 22, 2025. This decree establishes the Ramadan solidarity grant and stipulates the following conditions: eligibility is granted if both spouses are without income, or if their combined net monthly income does not exceed the national minimum guaranteed wage (20,000 DZD). Social and field investigations must also confirm the precarious social situation of the head of household.
The Ministry further informs previous beneficiaries of the 2025 solidarity grant that they are also required to renew their applications. This measure ensures continued eligibility and proper allocation of resources.
