31,750 Children Benefit from Summer Camps in Algeria

The National Committee for the Preparation and Follow-up of the Summer Vacation Season met on Monday under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of the Interior, Local Government, and Urban Planning. The meeting was held to assess the progress of the summer vacation season and to follow up on the implementation of the work plans that have been committed to in the past.

The agenda of the meeting focused on presenting the various efforts, including the instructions given to the security services to strengthen their presence on the beaches, rest areas, and public spaces, and to enforce the principle of free access to the beaches in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The meeting also reviewed the results of the summer camps for the benefit of children from the Algerian diaspora, the Great South, and the High Plateaus, which benefited from 31,750 children. The public authorities have provided all the necessary means to ensure the success of the camps, where 1,400 staff members have been deployed across 27 accommodation centers to receive them in the best possible conditions.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of the Interior, Local Government, and Urban Planning expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the summer vacation season so far, and he stressed the importance of continuing to work to ensure the success of the season and to provide the best possible conditions for the Algerian people to enjoy their summer vacation.
