A mobile unit of the customs department in Ouargla, Algeria, seized 449,415 tablets of the hallucinogenic drug pregabalin, 300 mg, and an AK-47 assault rifle with a magazine containing 27 rounds.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the Algerian National Army and the National Gendarmerie. The perpetrator was arrested and transferred to the competent judicial authorities for further investigation.
