Algiers, November 15, 2025 – A residential building in the heart of Algiers collapsed early this morning, prompting a swift response from civil defense authorities. The incident occurred at approximately 2:50 AM on Rabah Moussaoui Street, in the Hussein Dey municipality.
The affected structure, described as an older building comprised of a ground floor and four additional stories, crumbled unexpectedly. Civil Defense personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and initiate rescue operations.
