Algiers, November 16, 2025 – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has issued a directive mandating strict adherence to cleanliness standards for all public and private transport vehicles operating across the country.
The President’s order, delivered during a Council of Ministers meeting held earlier today, emphasizes the critical importance of maintaining hygienic conditions within vehicles serving the public. The focus is particularly on Algiers and other regions with significant tourism sectors.
