Algeria, Vietnam Urged to Boost Economic Partnerships

Algiers – Prime Minister Sifi Gherib has called on Algerian and Vietnamese business leaders to significantly increase their efforts in forging diverse partnerships, particularly in key sectors prioritized by both nations.

Speaking in Algiers on Wednesday, the Prime Minister emphasized the untapped potential for collaboration between Algeria and Vietnam. He urged the private sector to take the lead in identifying and developing mutually beneficial projects that can drive economic growth and create jobs.

“The time for cautious exploration is over,” stated Prime Minister Gherib. “We need bold initiatives and a proactive approach from our business communities to fully realize the opportunities that exist between our two countries.”

The Prime Minister highlighted several sectors as prime candidates for enhanced cooperation, including agriculture, renewable energy, manufacturing, and technology. He stressed the importance of leveraging the strengths of both economies to create a synergistic partnership that benefits both Algeria and Vietnam.

“By combining Algeria’s abundant natural resources with Vietnam’s manufacturing prowess and technological innovation, we can create a powerful economic engine that drives progress and prosperity for our people,” the Prime Minister added.
