Johannesburg – Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, held bilateral discussions today with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares. The meeting took place on the sidelines of Minister Attaf’s participation in the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, held on November 22nd and 23rd, 2025.
Minister Attaf is part of the Algerian delegation headed by Prime Minister Sifi Grib participating in the summit.
The bilateral meeting provided an opportunity to review the partnership and cooperation between Algeria and Spain. Both ministers also exchanged views and analyses regarding developments in the Mediterranean region and the Sahel.
