President Tebboune reiterated Algeria’s firm stance on the critical need to address the crippling debt faced by developing and impoverished countries. He advocated for a fairer approach that would enable these nations to restore their economic equilibrium.
In the address delivered on his behalf, President Tebboune emphasized that the precarious financial situation of numerous countries necessitates innovative solutions. These solutions, he stated, should include a review of debt volumes and the potential conversion of debt into direct, economically viable investments.
Algeria unequivocally supports international endeavors aimed at establishing a more equitable global economic system. President Tebboune affirmed that tackling the debt issue is a fundamental step towards empowering impoverished nations to achieve comprehensive development and bolster their financial and social stability.
