Algerian national team striker Adel Bolbina has affirmed the squad’s awareness of the significant responsibility they bear as they head into the Arab Cup Qatar 2025. He emphasized the players’ determination to give their best performance from the opening match.
During a press conference held Tuesday ahead of Algeria’s match against Sudan, scheduled for Wednesday in the first round of the competition, Bolbina stated, “This tournament doesn’t come every day, and it’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our abilities on the Arab stage.”
The Al-Duhail SC striker added, “We are preparing very seriously and we know the size of the responsibility. Our goal is to give everything from the start against Sudan, then take it match by match to reach the furthest stage in the tournament.”
Bolbina pointed out that the players understand the nature of the competition and that surprises are always possible in Arab tournaments. However, he stressed that “Les Verts” are ready to face all teams without distinguishing between big and small national teams.
Regarding the team’s goals in the Qatar tournament, Bolbina stated, “We know the size of the responsibility, and we will give everything we have to make the Algerian people happy. We are striving with all our might to achieve a second consecutive title.”
The Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will take place from December 1st to 18th. The Algerian national team hopes to defend its title successfully by delivering an outstanding performance starting with the match against Sudan. The team is focused and prepared for the challenge ahead.
