The Chairman of MC Alger’s Board of Directors, Mohamed Hakim Hadj Redjem, has stated that the team’s recent defeat, while disappointing, is a normal occurrence in football and should be viewed as a positive learning experience. He emphasized that this setback should strengthen the club rather than diminish its previous achievements.
In a statement posted on his official Instagram account, Hadj Redjem acknowledged the pain of the loss, especially for a club of MC Alger’s stature. However, he stressed the importance of transforming it into a source of strength, not a stumbling block. He praised the collective effort of the players, technical staff, and management that contributed to the team’s earlier successes, while also recognizing the crucial role of the fans.
Hadj Redjem affirmed that every MC Alger supporter desires to see the team at its best. He acknowledged the right of fans to offer constructive criticism after negative results but firmly rejected any attempts to create discord. “There is no place for those seeking to disrupt the team’s stability, regardless of the severity of the defeat,” he stated. “Attempts to destabilize the team are unacceptable.”
Recalling the team’s accomplishments, the Chairman highlighted MC Alger’s best-ever start to a league season, with eight consecutive victories and one draw in the first nine matches, prior to the recent loss. He pointed out that MC Alger currently leads the league standings by a comfortable margin, with three games in hand.
In closing, Hadj Redjem emphasized that MC Alger has been at the top of the league for the third consecutive season and has shown consistent progress over the past four years. “We will protect the team, players, and technical staff. With the support of the MC Alger faithful, we will return stronger, and MC Alger will always be powerful,” he concluded.
