The Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) convened its first meeting with the newly appointed members of its Executive Bureau yesterday evening, under the leadership of President Kamal Moula. The primary focus of the meeting was to define the roles and responsibilities of each member and to establish the organizational foundations for the upcoming phase of the council’s work.
The session fostered productive discussions and exchanges among the members, leading to a clear assignment of responsibilities and a thorough examination of key operational aspects of the council.
Furthermore, the meeting provided an opportunity to outline a roadmap for the council’s activities during the initial half of 2026. This roadmap aims to enhance the council’s role and operational dynamism in the coming period, solidifying its position as a key driver of economic development in Algeria.
Kamal Moula’s Re-election: It is worth noting that on December 17th, Kamal Moula was unanimously re-elected as the President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council for a second three-year term. This reaffirms his continued leadership of the largest association of business leaders in Algeria, encompassing entrepreneurs and economic stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The CREA operates with the status of a syndicate, representing the interests of its members and contributing to the nation’s economic advancement.
DZWatch will continue to provide updates on the CREA’s initiatives and their impact on the Algerian economy.
