Algiers, January 8, 2026 – The President of the Council of the Nation (Senate), Azzouz Nasseri, today received a delegation of transport unions representatives at the Parliament headquarters.
The meeting saw the participation of key figures from various organizations within the transport sector. Among those present were representatives from the National Transport Union, affiliated with the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), the National Union of Taxi Drivers, and the National Federation of Transporters of People and Goods, which is linked to the General Union of Algerian Traders and Craftsmen (UGCAA).
