KIGALI, RWANDA – The Algerian national handball team secured a commanding victory over Rwanda today in the second round of the African Handball Championship, currently being held in Kigali. The final score stood at 46-25 in favor of the Algerians.
Les Verts delivered a powerful performance throughout the match, asserting their dominance on both the offensive and defensive fronts. Their cohesive teamwork and strategic plays proved too much for the Rwandan side, resulting in a decisive win that boosted morale after a somewhat shaky start to the tournament.
The match also saw an outstanding performance from player Adel Koumida, whose exceptional skills and contributions were instrumental in securing the victory. Koumida was subsequently named the Man of the Match for his stellar display.
Looking ahead, the Algerian team is preparing to face Zambia next Saturday in the third and final round of the group stage.
