Minister Djellaoui Commends Mining Line Project Acceleration

Minister of Public Works Abdelkader Djellaoui has recognized the sustained efforts and accelerated pace of work on the Eastern Mining Line project. His commendation followed a three-day field visit dedicated to monitoring the progress of this strategic infrastructure, which is crucial for the nation's economic development.
During his inspection tour, Djellaoui assessed various sections and construction sites along the 422-kilometer Eastern Mining Line. This route extends from the Annaba Phosphate Port through the wilayas of Annaba, El Tarf, Guelma, and Souk Ahras, culminating in Tébessa. Particular attention was given to the 43-kilometer segment linking Tébessa to Tnoukla, where significant progress was observed.
The Minister also inspected the construction of a bridge at kilometer point 25, a critical component of the project. This specific work is being carried out by the public company SAPTA, with its completion anticipated in the coming days. The advanced state of these works underscores the overall momentum of the Eastern Mining Line's development.
