Rosenborg Eyes Permanent Deal for Amin Chiakha

Algerian international Amin Chiakha is anticipated to complete a significant transfer in the coming weeks, a direct result of his impressive displays since the start of the current football season. The 20-year-old player, currently on loan at Norwegian club Rosenborg, has garnered attention for his consistent performance within the Norwegian league.
Chiakha's contributions for Rosenborg include nine goals and two assists across seventeen matches. These strong showings have prompted Rosenborg to pursue a permanent acquisition of his contract from Danish club FC Copenhagen. The Norwegian club has reportedly formally notified FC Copenhagen of its intention to activate the player's release clause, aiming to secure his services permanently before his loan agreement concludes at the end of the year.
The proposed transfer fee for Chiakha is five million Euros. This amount, if paid, would establish him as the most expensive player ever purchased by Rosenborg, marking a historical milestone for the Norwegian club. Despite Rosenborg's attempts to negotiate a lower price, FC Copenhagen reportedly declined, affirming the clarity of their contractual terms, which stipulate a five-million-Euro payment for a permanent transfer. Chiakha's market value, according to Transfermarkt, is currently 3.5 million Euros, with potential for further increase given his ongoing strong performances.
