Egyptian DALTEX, Chinese Irritech Partner on Algeria Irrigation
Egyptian agribusiness DALTEX Corporation has formed a strategic partnership with China-based Irritech, a specialist in large-scale irrigation systems. Under this new agreement, DALTEX will serve as the exclusive distributor for Irritech's advanced irrigation solutions across Egypt, Algeria, and Libya. This collaboration significantly strengthens the offerings available to farmers and agricultural enterprises within these markets, including Algeria.
The partnership combines DALTEX’s established expertise in project design, installation, and comprehensive after-sales support with Irritech’s specialized technologies. Irritech's portfolio includes center-pivot and linear irrigation systems, along with advanced solutions powered by artificial intelligence. These technologies are designed to optimize water usage, improve field performance, and ensure reliable operation for agricultural projects, from medium-sized farms to large-scale operations.
DALTEX brings over 60 years of experience, having designed irrigation systems for more than 600,000 feddans and installed over 5,000 center pivots for a diverse client base. The company's support spans the entire project lifecycle, encompassing land evaluation, hydraulic design, installation, and extensive after-sales services. These services include providing spare parts, offering hands-on operator training, and conducting annual maintenance visits, all crucial for sustaining system performance and maximizing client investments in Algerian agriculture.
