Digital Media Directors Affirm Role in Defending National Interests

Directors of Algerian electronic newspapers recently convened at the Presidency of the Republic in Algiers, where they expressed appreciation for President Tebboune's support for the electronic media sector. The meeting provided a platform for participants to highlight the significant role digital media plays in defending national interests, underscoring its contribution to the country's information landscape.

This interactive session, held at the Presidency, was co-chaired by Mr. Kamel Sidi Said, Advisor to the President of the Republic and Director General of Communication, alongside Mr. Mohamed Bouslimani, the Minister of Communication. Attendees included various cadres from both the General Directorate of Communication and the Ministry, creating an environment for comprehensive discussion on the sector's conditions and the challenges faced by its professionals.

The gathering constituted the second in a series of organized meetings between the General Directorate of Communication at the Presidency and the Ministry of Communication with leaders of public and private media institutions. These ongoing engagements aim to foster enhanced communication with media organizations, address their concerns, and collectively explore strategies for further developing Algeria's vibrant media sector.
