Minister Boudjemaa Expands Justice System Digitalization, Specialized Poles

Algerian Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, recently announced significant advancements for the nation's judicial system during a visit to Oran. These initiatives include the expansion of national electronic window services to encompass administrative appeal courts and the State Council, alongside an increase in the number of specialized judicial poles nationwide to ten.

The expansion of specialized judicial poles is deemed essential to enhance judicial specialization and adapt structures to the evolving volume of cases, particularly in regions experiencing high activity and pressure on judicial bodies. This strategic move aims to optimize the handling of specialized criminal cases, thereby improving justice performance and meeting the demands of judicial work across the country.

The extension of electronic window services represents a crucial step in the digitalization efforts to modernize the justice sector, facilitating operations for administrative appeal courts and the State Council. Minister Boudjemaa's visit to Oran further underscored these modernization efforts with the inauguration of new headquarters for the Ghdir and Bir El Djir courts, as well as the administrative appeal court in Oran, reflecting ongoing infrastructure development to support the judicial system.
