Security services at Oran's Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a significant quantity of gold and euros. Authorities intercepted a passenger who was preparing to board a flight destined for Istanbul, Turkey, carrying 7 kilograms of gold in ingot form and 20,000 euros.
