
Oran – Hamza Yacine from the Madar Pro Team emerged victorious in the first edition of the National Cycling Tour, concluding the fourth and final stage of the Tlemcen City Prize on Sunday. The race took place on a closed circuit at the Lalla Setti Plateau, where Yacine’s teammate, Islam Mansouri, claimed victory in the final stage.
Mansouri crossed the finish line of the 60 km race with a time of 1h 26m 03s, ahead of his teammate Mohamed Najeeb Assal (1h 26m 45s) and Zaki Boudar from Moujed Al-Qarara Club (Ghardaia), who finished with a time of 1h 27m 19s.
Overall Winner: Hamza Yacine
Hamza Yacine clinched the individual general classification with a total time of 6h 45m, outpacing his teammates Oussama Maimouni (6h 46m 50s) and Islam Mansouri (6h 46m 52s).
Juniors Category Winner
In the juniors category, Anas Riyahi from Amal El-Maleh Club (Ain Temouchent) dominated all four stages. He completed the final sprint race over 57 km in 1h 28m 45s, finishing ahead of Abdelhamid Charebbi and Salah Hamzioui from Madar Pro Team.
Successful Organization and Participation
The competition was praised for its solid technical level and well-organized structure, according to specialists. The four-day event, organized by the Tlemcen Provincial Cycling League in collaboration with the Algerian Cycling Federation and the Youth and Sports Directorate of Tlemcen, brought together 51 cyclists from 12 clubs across the junior and senior categories.
