USM Algiers (Soustara) clinched a valuable 1-0 victory today, Tuesday, against their hosts MC Mostaganem, in a rescheduled match from the fourth round of the Algerian Professional League.
The game’s only goal came from Seku Gassama in the 26th minute of the first half, propelling USM Algiers to the top of the league standings, tied with MC Algiers, both sitting on 11 points.
ASO Chlef and CS Constantine End in a 1-1 Draw
In another fixture from the same round, US Khenchela managed to grab an important point away from home, drawing 1-1 with ASO Chlef.
The home side took the lead through Abdelrahmane Bourdim in the 31st minute, but the visitors equalized via Islam Bakir, ensuring a share of the spoils.
