ALGIERS – Algerian para‑judo athletes Ishak Ouldkouider and Abderrahmane Chetouane both captured bronze medals at the 2025 IBSA Judo Grand Prix for visually impaired competitors in Giza, Egypt. Competing in the −95 kg category (J1 class), Chetouane stumbled in his opening bout but rebounded by defeating Indonesia’s Fajar Pambudi and Sweden’s Oscar Widegren via immobilisation Ouldkouider, fighting in the −70 kg (J2 class), reached the semifinals by ippon against Italy’s Dura Federico Giuseppe before losing to Uzbekistan’s Kemran Nurillaev; he then won the bronze medal match al24news.dz .
